If there is a split I guarantee you it will be more like 70/30 or 65/35.

insinuating that 30% is definitely fair, and yet 15mil is totally unthinkable..... is totally absurd

because you have no idea which amount is greater

what a fkn ABSURD reason (EXCUSE) to kill that fight

15mil is an absolute fortune..... it is more than Cotto/Canelo got paid for Mayweather..... that is the most absurd excuse NOT to fight that you golov-fans have ever come up with, and there have been plenty LMAO

      stop making weak excuses

he should have done whatever it takes to secure that fight

if Golovkin misses out on that fight, and that 15mil..... he will become a laughing stock
To fight WHEN? Answer the question, you dumb piece of ****.
You think you know so much about it. When is the date for this supposed 10-15mil offer?
Why wouldn't that matter? It's a pretty big deal.
Was the date for last May or September? No.
Was the offer for May of this year? Obviously not.
When is the date for this supposed big money offer?
Tell us since you know so much about it, you dumb ****mouth f@gg0t.

Canelo can have an extremely lucrative career without Golovkin. He is under no obligation to give him the fight or make concessions in negotiations.

        And the reverse isn't true.

Joke or not, it is going to do well, and not just with Mexican fans.

This is big man vs little man stuff, with an iconic boxing name mixed in. Both men hugely popular even in spite of the shortcomings.

This is going to be the largest PPV in a while, trust that.
That's not saying much, Ppvs have suffered lately. Chavez is not very popular anymore, his numbers have stunk since he bolted from HBO to avoid GGG. His last fight wasn't even on Us TV. There's also a ton of overlap in their fanbase. It'll do well but not that well.

10-15 mil offer to fight written on air.
You don't think WHEN matters? Just shows how ****** and biased you are.
If Canelo wanted the fight, they would've fought one of the 2 times last year he said he would fight. He ducked the fight instead.
If he really wanted the fight, he would be fighting GGG in May of this year.
There has NEVER been an offer to fight NEXT. Only bull**** and ducking from Canelo and team f@gg0t. No surprise you blindly support team f@gg0t.

              • 10-15mil "offer" to not fight next?
                How does that work out?
How are people dumb enough to make an argument FOR that?
Really have to be dumb and biased to support that f@gg0t behavior.

If he's fine taking backseat to the dominant champ of his day, he can make good money at the cost to his rep.

GGG is already making way more than he could have dreamt a few years ago, he'll be fine. His purses and popularity are still growing steadily, unlike Canelo

I chose to believe what Schafer, Arum, Marquez and others have said about the flat fee. I chose to believe that GGG's team AS WELL AS Canelo's team knows what is best for their fighter and what happens is beyond the understanding of anyone here, including you. And if they settle on a flat fee or a split, that is a reality that has nothing to do with what people think here is fair or not or what will happen. That is what I choose to believe. You are not inside of Canelo or GGG's team and neither am I so whatever agreement they land on if they do - it is what it is, fair or not.

I never said 15 mill was totally unthinkable. Go back and read all my posts. If GGG's team think it is fair - it is fair, and if they dont think it is fair, then it is not and that is THEIR choice, not yours, not mine, not any of these last minute wannabe boxing financial experts here. The ONLY thing that matters is what both teams think is fair and decides on or moves on. Hooting and blowing smoke isnt going to change any financial negotiations that take place.
