Because Wilder cant even sell out his home arena in Alabama and thats why he is no PPV fighter.

This shows the fight needs to be in the UK. Big stadium fight and Deontay will get his biggest payday and then some.
I get the feeling a charismatic "KO machine" from America will capture the UK public's imagination more than a boring fighter they already know in Wlad.

A 6:00PM ET PPV live from UK would tank in the USA...
They are in a tough spot. Wilder is unknown in the USA. Joshua the A-side, and I don't see it changing.

Maybe in America. Joshua-Wilder would be a stadium fight in the UK and do big ppv numbers.
Tbh though if they were looking to do that fight in America I think AJ would need at least 2 fights to get more exposure which would help build a fight with wilder.
Thing is you have to start from somewhere, it took mayweather a long time before he became a ppv star, problem is there's been fights in America that never should of been which has been a reason for low numbers . ppv should be saved for elite prestige match ups.

A Joshua-Wilder showdown would be a pay-per-view event in the boxing-loving United Kingdom, where such shows typically cost consumers 20 pounds (about $25).
