Because Wilder cant even sell out his home arena in Alabama and thats why he is no PPV fighter.

All of a sudden Lou DiBella is the Robin Hood of Boxing. Gtfoh everyone knows if DW could draw on PPV he would. Like all boxers would. And promoters.

This shows the fight needs to be in the UK. Big stadium fight and Deontay will get his biggest payday and then some.

I get the feeling a charismatic "KO machine" from America will capture the UK public's imagination more than a boring fighter they already know in Wlad.

A 6:00PM ET PPV live from UK would tank in the USA...

They are in a tough spot. Wilder is unknown in the USA. Joshua the A-side, and I don't see it changing.

That is not something Schaefer is willing to admit, "Mikey is the next PPV star." Haymon should fire this guy for contradicting his boss.

Maybe in America. Joshua-Wilder would be a stadium fight in the UK and do big ppv numbers.

Tbh though if they were looking to do that fight in America I think AJ would need at least 2 fights to get more exposure which would help build a fight with wilder.

Thing is you have to start from somewhere, it took mayweather a long time before he became a ppv star, problem is there's been fights in America that never should of been which has been a reason for low numbers . ppv should be saved for elite prestige match ups.

Hold it in the UK & make them pay for the PPV while we watch it for free here.

If Alabama's Wilder and England's Joshua can continue winning, eventually own all four heavyweight titles and agree to meet to determine heavyweight supremacy, DiBella doesn't think their fight should be televised via pay-per-view in the United States. A Joshua-Wilder showdown would be a pay-per-view event in the boxing-loving United Kingdom, where such shows typically cost consumers 20 pounds (about $25).

So Wilders upcoming fight against untested , late replacement Gerald Washington is more intriguing than the Stivern fight where he won the title and half people thought he'd lose ???

If Joshua and Wilder were on HBO it'd be a different narrative.
