A.Bernstein of Showtime, B.Campbell and D.Rafael of ESPN, Kellerman and Lampley of Hbo, numerous Mexican fighters - Marquez, Chavez SR - all have stated the OBVIOUS - Canelo is BLATANTLY ducking GGG. With weight/$ excuses....even with the infamous "I am not a MW.. I need to build my body up to 160 before fighting Ggg"....that ridiculous statement alone says it all right there now that he's going from 155 to 164!!! If the Chavez fight is the least bit competitive, will have rematch and continue to wait for GGG to lose or get older.

Canelo and Golden boy doing what they do best talk about GGG before a fight so they can get their fanboys believing this junk. GGG can make the easy $15 million but we all know there is more in the pot for him, Canelo can't hide anymore. Make the fight in September and give us boxing fans the awesome year we've been having lately, bunch of good fights being made.

I guess GGG lost is pen too, if we are going to believe the same people that criticise Eubank for losing his pen. At the end of the day both wants more money. Eubank wanted more money for his son, GGG wanted more money/split from the Canelo fight.

Champions dont loose pens. The mandatory was there, the same way Jacobs was a mandatory to GGG , GGG didnt vacate his belt.

IMO GGG just needs to take the deal. He will never get a bigger payday and more recognition elsewhere. Win or lose build your legacy off of this fight. If you win awesome! go up and clean up 168. if you lose who cares! stay at 160 and destroy everyone else and possibly get a rematch (depending on the outcome of course) if not go up and clean up 168 like i said. Im sure ward would fight him at 172.

Nelo shouldn't look at gigs previous figures. Nelo should realise how much this fight will make and pay him accordingly.
If this fight makes 60 million is 15 really fair. Maybe a flat fee and after fight extras depending on how much it makes
