the united snakes of "america" is the worlds largest "drug dealer" so the phillipines shouldnt do business with the u.s.a. tryin' to stop low-level dealers who "traffic" narcotics is like tryin' to put a bandage on a gunshot wound. its not attacking the source. poverty is one development of the source which is white peoples creation of CAPITALISM which is the daughter of white aggression imposed onto the world(i dont use the term "white supremacy" bc aint no white person "supreme" over me. the imf & those tri-lateral corporations installed into the global system in which somehow the global world THOUGHT was good for them has enslaved the world around the au****es of this white aggression doctrine manifested into a veiled system which HOUSES that same doctrine but permeates under the surface but is the FUEL that drives the machine.

Somehow I doubt Manny is doing this out of his own sense of conviction. The political climate in that country is toxic because Duarte is heavy handed, to put it mildly. I doubt senators who say things like... "wait, people make mistakes, and sometimes due process is not followed, and can't we look case by case?"...Get much money for new roads and such from Duarte. I do't agree with this policy either, its sad really.

Actually Dr Rumack...Pac is a bit of a simpleton. I know that sounds horrible and it doesn't totally excuse him but I doubt Pac can process moral complexity. Hes a guy who used to womanize, was never educated, lived/lives by instinct, and found a religious path that is pretty simple...the equivalent of "rinse wash and repeat."

Politics in that area is a lot like Hollywood here, and for that matter, the Washington establishment as well lol...if you get in yu gots blood on your hands!! There are no angels were demon's fear to tread. At least Duarte is honest about what he is, the guy is the bastard Roman twin Remus, who kills his brother! pacquio is not honest that way, and tries to come across as a moral reformer at times, but as you said and I agree with you, he does indeed have blood on his hands. And ignorance is no excuse for the law.

At the end of the day there are two kinds of people in the world Dr R: People like you and I who probably would say "screw the roads! I don't want to participate in this murder scheme!" and people who say "Hey the traffickers are getting it any way, might as well hitch on and get my constituency some new roads and programs."

Pac's secret is he has a nice smile, a great story, and has been succesful at punching people in the face beyond measure. I doubt he even makes decisions...look at the situation with his taxes for example.
