Verdejo gave me an awesome live performance win when he won in PR and KO'd the dude. Since then, I haven't seen anything as equal or exciting. In fact I've been preaching, the real star to keep an eye out for is Christopher "Pitufo" Diaz. That dude has been consistent and getting lots of KO's lately. Met him also, he's a funny guy. I hope he can surpass Verdejo and people start to realize, he's the real goods and Verdejo, without the athleticism is more of an average/mediocre fighter.

          You know...his color and all.

He escaped your usual disdain for fighters of his hue for some odd reason.

Maybe it's just the American Brothers you hate.

          Yeah

          That's it.

Give him a solid contender in May or June. Then title time by years end.

Also Verdejo might want to consider bringing in another corner man for his next fight.
He didn't look good the fight before the accident.

hes a world class talent, only 23. Stick him in there with someone like flanagan. If he loses, that might be enough to kick him into gear to get majorly focused on the sport again. Is gaining nothing by fighting bums.

Hopefully. Kicking 35 in the arse with one quality win (if he beats Jacob) now that's the stuff boxing legends are made of.
