I don't think the Brook fight is a good gauge to determine how he fares against Canelo. I see GGG being more measured, working behind a stiff jab, and utilizing his power when appropriate. IMO his skill set is above average but he hasn't been tested enough to display all of it (especially his defense). His footwork is economical. He's never on his toes but it usually puts him in position to get damaging leverage behind his punches. If anything, Canelo is the more flatfooted fighter; his movement is slower.

By faster, i was talking more in terms of hand speed than actual body speed...and i also didn't mean to in infer that i thought canelo and brook fight alike, because i don't. What i meant was that if canelo is able to use that hand speed to his advantage and catch ggg with solid counters, and sharps combos, as brook was able to, canelo wins the fight.

To your point, if canelo isn't able to avoid gennadys shots, then obviously the fight goes the other way.

I agree with Robert. This GGG is a modern day Superman or Canelo ain't got sh^t on GGG logic makes no sense to me. I think it'll be a competitive fight that either guy could win & my pick has been & will likely continue to be Canelo as GGG just gets older & older as he moves into his post-prime & Canelo just gets better & better & move into his prime.

That said I kinda hope Jacobs & Chavez Jr both win by KO in a round against both these guys for all the f#cking around & bs with this fight & make them both, along with their teams & promoters look like f#cking idiots.
