62k to fight a beast like Beterbiev is miserable. Beterbiev is not getting much either. I wonder what were the plans Duva is talking about - she mentioned HBO - and how much money Barrera would have made against an easier opponent. From a fan's standpoint, this is the fight I wanted to see.

You obviously didn't read the article. The purse split is 75/25 in Beterbiev's favour.

That is the total cut for Main Events. They gotta get paid out of that 62k plus barrera has to pay his manager and trainer. Reading between the lines. I don't see how this fight happens. I'm sure he made more from shabransky fight
