Although Brook can make more $ vs a much easier opponent in khan, what'd be best for boxing is if brook fought Spence and if the winner would fight the winner of Garcia and Thurman. Eventually throw Crawford into the mix and now boxing can generate the stars it needs in the post mayweather, pac and cotto eras.

Yeah he tends to talk big fights then actually fight big fights. I also think what they did to Vargas was BS! Everything was agreed upon and he backed out at last minute. Was crying over Vargas getting $2 million to come to UK.Comment

Not this again Eddie, he said something like this before only to comeback and say "Oh Spence Did Not Turn Down A Fight With Spence Jr"
Week away from the date so we shall see how the Bidding goes. Haymon will likely go ALL IN for the BID to get this in America is what I'm AssumingComment

Team Spence needs to open up with their side of this. What did Eddie Apples and Pears offer? Let's get this twitter war on.Comment

). I don't think Haymon will even make an offer in the bid, just because of all the time that has been wasted. Plus they never gave Porter a rematch.

Spence is not walking away. He's already posted on Twitter that its going to a purse bid. He's also already stated he'd fight Brook in the UK, if need be. The only way this fight doesn't happen is if Brook vacates...but wishful thinking if anyone believes Spence will pull out, and allow Brook to save face...no pun intended.Comment

Spence was ready to fight last year. It was Brooks team that need the extension and was negotiating other fights like he didn't already have a mandatory. Everything they have done since the GGG fight shows that they don't really want the fight but they are running out of options. Just look at their sides history trying to make fights (Alexander, Vargas, etc). This is why I didn't feel bad when Khan made them that 70-30 offer (said the split would change if he kept the belt thoguh).
He's had issues in the past, sure. But this is also the man who moved up to fight the most feared man in boxing. I think he deserves the benefit of doubt until he actually does something worth criticisingComment
