He's had issues in the past, sure. But this is also the man who moved up to fight the most feared man in boxing. I think he deserves the benefit of doubt until he actually does something worth criticising

It's not a criticism but an observation. He did the same thing Khan did, so I can't knock him for going after the money. My issues is that they are being so dismissive of a guy who has been waiting patiently for his shot. Spence would have taken this fight last year if it was possible. He wants a payday and that is fine, because he is risking his life every time he goes in that ring. There was a time when he was in Spences positions, and he kept getting opportunities but couldn't fight for what ever reason, but Porter gave him a shot (didn't make him wait). Dude tried to cash out with the GGG fight because he could not get anything else and didn't want to face Spence who was forced to fight another eliminator. Brooks problem is that he can't get a money fight unless he has that belt. 6 million people saw Spences last fight so lets not act like he is a nobody, he earned his spot stopping a bunch of guys that have never been KO'd before. What are you talking about making him wait? Brook fought his mandatory at the beginning of last year. It's standard for every champ to fight a mandatory once per year. He wasn't required to fight Spence until now.

Sounds fair to me. Brook is the champ and has the fan base. Put in the UK and Brook would be bringing in 90% of those fans. Spence should dare to be great and take 25%.
