Canelo was in complete control throughout that fight and never had to leave first gear. There wasn't a single moment that Canelo wasn't in charge. Miguel was throwing pitty-pat shots while getting outboxed and hit with power shots in return.

A very easy 116-112 or 117-111.

Can we stop pushing this idea that Cotto has any case for winning the Alvarez fight? It was definitely closer than the official scorecards but Alvarez won. There's no question about it.

That is an insanely biased outlook.

Cotto did not win that fight and I definitely don't care to see a rematch. Canelo beats Cotto 9 out of 10 times based off of what I saw in their fight.

Not to mention Canelo is only getting bigger + he has the confidence of the win over Cotto already.

He would have a much better chance to get a rough stoppage over Cotto in a rematch.

Cotto should try to fight Khan or Brook if he really wants it.

cant be saying they lost, then months later, come back and say they won.

plus during the fight, in the 11th round I believe in the corner, roach even told cotto that they need a knockout lol. that right there should be enough to tell everyone what roach think who's winning.

Also fair to mention most of the names mentioned are not fans of Canelo at all and have always been critical of anything he does. I think it has to do mainly with his popularity and treatment he has received in boxing.
