he is too ugly and guy doesnt have personality. You go to your nearest Taco stand and youll see guys like Mikey by the truckload..
I love watching him fight but he doesnt come off as a ppv star..
I am a big fan of Mikey so I may be biased here but he is bilingual, has a Mexican and American fanbase in Cali and Vegas, well spoken, married with a family, comes of as honest and sincere, and is an elite fighter with skill and power.
Most of all, he fights at 135 and can go up to 140 or fight any of the top guys at 130 coming up.

Dude has all the makings of a PPV star IMO.
he's a nice dude, atleast that's how he comes off.
but he's very straight forward and boring. this is whats holding him back from becoming a star.
I've never really see him joke around or anything, even in interviews, he's very straight to the point.
when a fighter isn't controversial hes labeled boring, when that same fighter starts talking big ish, then hes arrogant, ******, not a good role model, and bad for the sport
disagree. with pac, he has the personality. people loved him because he was seen as this goofy nice humble guy. with Floyd, he played the villain role, so people paid to see him fight in hopes that he'll lose. it takes more than just being an exciting fighter. you have to back that up when you're not fighting with your personality.
Like the other poster said, it's about exposure. The DLH fight brought them to a wider audience.
