It takes two to tango. No good opposition, no PPV.
Bottom line: Think about the opponent first before even talk about becoming a PPV star.

    Hope that helps.

If he could grow a beard out and get a better hair cut it would fix all his problems

It will take time for another genuine PPV star to emerge. After last night's performance he has as good a chance as anybody. Excellent footwork, good combinations and brutal power. What's not to like?

I agree with this and the sad part it has nothing to do with ability.

If people are bailing on cable tv itself and linear tv in general, it's hard to see how they will pay even more for fights.

I think the way of making stars is going to be online more than anything in the future.

My issue with Mikey is his incredibly long lay off killed the momentum he's now trying to get back.

Yeah, has a dry personality, I don't see it. A PPV undercard act? I can definitely see that, but not the star attraction.

What a dumb thread. Anyone who watched him last night knows he's extremely watchable. I haven't seen anyone get KO in such a brutal fashion in ages. And it wasn't just the KO, it was how ****ing brilliant he was before the KO, just shows you can be both technically awesome and exciting at the same time. I don't know who Ellie is and don't know Garcia's background, his political views or if he's attractive or not, all I know is he's someone I'd pay to watch and I haven't paid for a fight since the ********* attack of May, 2nd. Garcia: Make boxing great again.
