if Im a dinosaur what does that make you? I guess it makes you nothing. Because all you do is run your mouth about this and that, claiming to be some sort of genius yet you have never done a single thing in the industry.
Its a shame such a brilliant talent as yourself has gone to waste and is relegated to trolling for likes on a message board.Comment

Unless those "facts" contribute to the detriment of fighter treatment/compensation ... no reasonable judge or jury would EVER consider them as wrong doings.

But to the overall issue you keep avoiding, who exactly do you think would retain any profit from a PBC event? If your answer is Haymon, then you are acknowledging that he is indeed violating the Ali Act.Last edited by OnePunch; 01-28-2017, 12:23 PM.Comment

I didnt precidt one way or the other how it would end, because thats a fools errand. I did claim however though that I felt that Golden Boys Ali Act claims were solid, and I still do. The Sherman Act stuff I was less familiar with. You seem to want to assume that because they couldnt show how that conduct hurt them, that the conduct didnt happen. Its 2 different things. Haymon IS violating the Ali Act, but its probably only the Justice Dept who could do anything about it, and they have never filed a single case, ever.

The overall issue you keep avoiding is that if your claims are true, why weren't they discovered in the discovery phase?
The main reason I predicted Haymon would win this case is because of his previous success as a businessman. So let's say Haymon is in violation of the Ali Act but legally he's covered his ass so there is no way to prove he's in violation of the Ali Act. I'm wondering why would you think he wouldn't legally cover is ass when he's been a successful businessman and there was hundreds of millions of dollars at stake? You really thought a guy as successful and smart as Haymon would've overlooked a way to circumvent the Ali Act and be tripped up by it? You don't become as successful as he is by not covering your ass legally.
Everyone knows Arum is in violation of the Ali Act but everyone also expects him to cover his all legally. Haymon is a product of the soft bigotry of lowered expectations in boxing (and business in general). No one ever saw him becoming this successful because they didn't expect a black man to be as smart and savvy as he is. That's the key to most successful black people in America. The expectations of us are so low that instead of complaining about them we exploit them. I love being underestimated and will even play into it for my advantage. When he got into boxing they ignored his innovations in concert promoting. The biggest being the hand off of concerts from regional promoter to regional promoter to becoming one nationwide promoter. Sound familiar?Comment

stars are temporary. HBO has always gone after the biggest stars. but haymon figured out you can lock up all of the opponents, lock up all of the FUTURE stars, long term you can box HBO out of the business. as it is, HBO is forced to focus primarily on WBO champions and foreign talent because haymon is locking up all the WBC/WBA/IBF belts and locking up all the americans.
the haymon coalition can't compete with the HBO coalition if you just compare the 5-10 biggest stars, but the problem for HBO is that haymon's 30th biggest star is bigger than HBO's 11th biggest star. he has the depth. he has more world champions than anyone and he's constantly creating new world champions month after month.Comment
