Clearly your not a fan of Golden Boy Promotions or Oscar de la Hoya but he's a Hall of Famer who transitioned to becoming by far the best Promotional company who was an ex fighter. Golden Boy has been in the game for a decade now. Just keep that in perspective.

Oscar isn't racist, if anything he's a greedy greedy person. The only color he cares about is green and that's been his m.o. for his career.

Oscar has made money in the sport outside of Floyd Money Mayweather so clearly he was doing something right.

Richard Schaefer did have a major help with Golden Boy Promotions and has probably known Oscar longer than anyone else in the sport and at the end he choose Al Haymon over years of friendship and turned a blind eye to Oscar's company.

Don't make it sound like Schaefer is a saint because that simply isn't the case.

Like I said earlier Oscar tried to double dip with Al Haymon after there first settlement and it back fired majorly. It's time for him and his company to move on. Same for Al Haymon who is making major fights and kicking major A$$ in the sport which is great for this sport to survive.

You can hate on Oscar all you want to but at the end of the day boxing is about making money and he brings his fair share to the game still after being retired for a while now.

What shaefer did was illegal which is why he had to pay golden boy millions and could not be involved in boxing for a period of time or did you forget all about that?
Haymon is a manager. So you're saying promoters should be able to pick and choose which managers their fighters can sign with? Matter of fact Golden Boy did exactly that in their contracts and that's why Haymon didn't allow his fighters to sign long term deals. The same type of deals Oscar sued Arum to get out of. Strange huh?

oscar and rob arum both tried to destroy pbc and they both failed... I dont have much sympathy or respect for those bitter clowns... If they put on good fights i will watch but i will not be ripped off by ******ed ppv's like canelo vs chavez or smith or khan....

Evidence please. My opinion is HBO will win becuase it has more star power and I see haymon fighters fighting in HBO, not the other way around. Canelo, GGG, Lomachenko, Crawford, Pacman, Gonzalez, Kovalev, Ward, Vargas. Beat this list with PBC boxers.

How many fights are on HBO for the first 4 months of the year?

It's pretty safe to say that they are DEFINITELY cutting back on their boxing budget.

And no... Pay-per-view is not HBO dumbass

stars are temporary. HBO has always gone after the biggest stars. but haymon figured out you can lock up all of the opponents, lock up all of the FUTURE stars, long term you can box HBO out of the business. as it is, HBO is forced to focus primarily on WBO champions and foreign talent because haymon is locking up all the WBC/WBA/IBF belts and locking up all the americans.

the haymon coalition can't compete with the HBO coalition if you just compare the 5-10 biggest stars, but the problem for HBO is that haymon's 30th biggest star is bigger than HBO's 11th biggest star. he has the depth. he has more world champions than anyone and he's constantly creating new world champions month after month.

he's trying to kill PPV. PPV allowed a small handful to make crazy money while everybody else starved. haymon's model will eventually end the days of guys making tens of millions in one night, but will allow for hundreds of fighters to make a great living instead of just a chosen few.

With all the talent and hundreds of millions of investors money he had its a shame the state his company is in right now. His own investors are suing didnt you read the report?
no, his investors are being sued by their investors. haymon is in the clear.

and it's a shame the state his company is in? he has more control of US boxing than ever and more world champions than ever. meanwhile, TR & GB have less control than ever. seems haymon's plan is working quite nicely.

Haymon cards on free t.v. have came to a halt with the exception of garcia thurman so all this time and money later haymons fighters are in a worst state than ever and they are starting to complain about a lack of fights
wrong. thurman/garcia on CBS, deontay wilder defending WBC world heavyweight championship on FOX. not to mention several shows on basic cable and an NBC date later in the year as well.
