Maybe GBP just needs better lawyers or something because their case would seem to be very strong, so not sure why it got thrown out?

what do you want more...... ?

    1) Pacquiao/Mayweather rematch
    2) Pacquiao/Marquez rematch
    3) Haymon/Hoya rematch

Why exactly is GB needed for boxing to get back into the mainstream? They have one fighter. When he's gone, GB becomes completely irrelevant.

Haymon is abiding by the Ali act and if you think he isn't, you must not understand the act. Your comments seem to indicate that you're basing your opinions on false information that flooded the internet thanks to a Golden Boy propaganda campaign that they coordinated with the press.

Schaefer did not do anything unethical or illegal, nor did Haymon. Whenever a fighter hired Haymon, Haymon advised the fighter that they should not sign a long term promotional agreement with anybody, which was great advice. Once his fighters were free agents, he offered them to GB on a fight by fight basis.

Had Schaefer said no, Haymon would have simply taken his fighters elsewhere. Schaefer did what was best for GB, which was to do what it took to keep Haymon's fighters.

Haymon will win. Haymon will win because Showtime is increasing their budget and HBO is decreasing their budget. Haymon will win because he gets almost the entire Showtime budget and the others have to split the shrinking HBO budget.

Top rank by itself is doing millions of times better than pbc is right now
Your information is inaccurate. You have no idea how much Haymon spent or how much is left. You only know Haymon's estimate of what the entity's value is, which is completely subjective and it was in Haymon's best interest to paint the bleakest picture possible to increase the chances of winning the GB lawsuit . . . and it worked.

Haymon has already gotten Spike, CBS and Showtime to bite. The big question will be if FOX bites. Considering PBC's FOX show last year did substantially better ratings that UFC's FOX show the same month, it's ludicrous to say PBC's ratings were low unless you're unfairly comparing to other genres.

Top Rank is forced to wait for a handful of dates a year from HBO. If you think TR is in a better position than Haymon, you're out of your mind.

Well one Golden Boy just got the ESPN deal. So let's see what happens with those fights.

They have way more than one fighter on their roster. Linares, Vargas, Jo Jo Diaz, David Lemieux, etc....are established fighters and champions. Not to mention the young talent that they have in house.

Golden Boy is needed because of the avenues that Oscar creates for boxing. Plain and simple he brings in business for the sport. Now did this past weeks issues hurt him yet again more hes but still if he gets himself together he's still a major force in the sport.

Say what you want about Schaefer not signing fighters to long term contracts but at least he was promoting fights. He's been back for 5 minutes and he's already put on the Charlo vs Williams card, and this weekends card with Frampton vs Santa Cruz.

Yea lets just ignore the fact that shaefer had oscar under the impression that business was ok and meanwhile shaefer allowed his fighters to sign with haymon and not sign with golden boy. Meanwhile only a few top rank fighters ended up signing with haymon because they were actually looking out for the interest of the company unlike shaefer who is now promoting fights for haymon. What shaefer did was illegal which is why he had to pay golden boy millions and could not be involved in boxing for a period of time or did you forget all about that?
