GB is giving away free shows to ESPN2. There will not be any big fights on the series. GB doesn't have the roster to consistently deliver big fights to anybody and the big fights they do deliver wind up on PPV.

The elimination of GB would be far more helpful to returning boxing to the mainstream. GB is like the AFL or ABA. The sport will flourish more when they're gone.

Why exactly is GB needed for boxing to get back into the mainstream? They have one fighter. When he's gone, GB becomes completely irrelevant.
What are you talking about? Golden boy has alot of fights on hbo and mexican t.v. and now has espn. They have canelo, lemieux, linares, mathysse is coming back, orozco and a slew of olympians and top prospects. The outlook is looking good for gbp and top rank while pbc was sunk and lost 5/6 of the investment and is getting sued big time by the investors and meanwhile haymons fighters dont have any more of these huge time buys and are now only on showtime so why are you in gay love with haymon

Haymon fighters only fought once last year, and so far it looks like only the top names are going to get to fight twice this year, and maybe twice if haymon starts making good fights with top rank, like bitter rivals bob arum and don king did countless times back in the day. The talent is definitely there, we could be going into another golden era of boxing if haymon top rank golden boy and all other promoters worked to give the fans the most competitive fights

Haymon has already gotten Spike, CBS and Showtime to bite. The big question will be if FOX bites. Considering PBC's FOX show last year did substantially better ratings that UFC's FOX show the same month, it's ludicrous to say PBC's ratings were low unless you're unfairly comparing to other genres.

Top Rank is forced to wait for a handful of dates a year from HBO. If you think TR is in a better position than Haymon, you're out of your mind.
Meanwhile if you want any hope to ever fight on ppv and get big money fights you need to be with a promoter who works with hbo or bob arum because haymon hasnt even developed his fighters into ppv stars yet. With all the talent and hundreds of millions of investors money he had its a shame the state his company is in right now. His own investors are suing didnt you read the report?
Haymon cards on free t.v. have came to a halt with the exception of garcia thurman so all this time and money later haymons fighters are in a worst state than ever and they are starting to complain about a lack of fights

Summary judgement basically means the judge, based on the evidence, think this has no merit and is a waste of time. Golden Boy can now file a motion to reconsider, during which they can present more evidence or try to make their case from a different angle. The judge will glance at the documents and either thell them to get lost or agree to review the documents and make a decision a few weeks later. After that is an appeal, which is unlikely.

If GBP is going to put more time/money in this, look for them to file a motion to reconsider. Id they don't, that's the end of it.

No Lawyer but Haymon might have a case for a serious Counter Suit because he would probably WIN! Haymon will end up owning GBP and Ring Magazine if he wins

He probably won't but if GBP keep trying to push it then **** it hit them hard and try to TAKE IT ALL!

                    Its over dude.

Any judge or jury would see... Chavez Jr.-Canelo and the ESPN deal as proof that GBP is simply crying against having a huge competitor.
