I don't think he's a huge draw, no. I'm really not too sure where you're going with this. My point is simply that I disagree with Floyd about walters being put on the shelf. Walters put himself on the shelf. Why did he turned the fight down in may, yet agree to it in November? Either he couldn't get any other fights, or turned the fight down because he was not confident that he would be able to win. It makes no difference anyway, he was going to lose, and floyd, of all fighters should understand people dismissing his win, since people have done it to him his whole career.

Well, that's not at all what I said. In fact, I don't even know what point you're making here. June of 2016 Walters is offered 550k to fight lomachenko which would've been his highest purse to date. He turns it down, lomachenko then says "hey, I'll throw in 300k (I believe it was) of my own purse (would've actually given Walters the higher amount of money between the 2), walters still does not want or take the fight. Fast forward to November, he then takes the fight for 200k less. Why? It's really not rocket science, and there's no argument that can be made. How did Walters not shelf himself? I don't understand where you're going with this at all.

The more FORMAL approach would've been 700K for Loma and 600K for Walters? Meaning, that's what Arum's mgmt should've layed out to the industry.
