No. Before that, Wach tested positive after his fight with Klitschko.

Yep, he was popped dirty before so he out. His name must've been brought up because he's in the WBC top 15.

        No...

His name was brought up because he's a limited, slow journeyman who has been beaten several times in the past.

Ouch, they do have a point. Was hoping that fight got made but seems like Ortiz may need to fight his way to mandatory to get that fight now.

What a load of rubbish! He lost to Wlad and roided up Povetkin. When he fought Wlad you were saying how dangerous he was, the same as you were for Pianetta and Leapai. Your hypocrisy is pathetic.

Ortiz was never going to be the guy for this fight, he is an HBO guy they have the right to first dibs on his fight and a right of last refusal. That is not jiving with a card that is already set up for Fox which Wilder was the headliner.

HBO might be willing to let that slide but that is not something that just magically happens instantly because Ortiz speaks. It is also a problem in the larger context of making an Ortiz fight with Wilder because Wilder is quite clearly the bigger name so the fight would be on his terms and Wilder (or more likely his team) may not want to fight on HBO. All that can be worked out though but not for a late replacement where time is of the essence.

More practically Wilder will not fight Ortiz soon because, better risk reward in fighting Joshua/Wlad, Tyson Fury, Parker, probably Haye and he is plenty likely to get those fights as is so fighting Ortiz does little for him.

What does it matter? They clearly aren't piss testing the fill-ins that get dragged off the street. They'd all come back with positives for $3.99 sherry, glue metabolites and bath salts.

I want to see the January WBC ratings. Wawrzyk & Povetkin could be out of them entirely. By looking at December I say it's Rudenko, Washington or David Price. Price is chinny he has been training for Hammer & has great power. He also may never get another shot if it's offered to him. Washington is an undefeated American so there is a storyline there but Rudenko is a top 15 guy who has little chance of beating anyone ranked ahead of him & he would take the fight on 4 weeks notice for a smaller purse. He seems like the logical choice to me. Not what I want to see but that is what I suspect will happen.
