Wow. This is losing my respect for him. It was a close fight. He promised a rematch to Collazo and now turning back. There are tons of rematches after a close fight especially a title fight like this. He should give rematch bottomline.

If Hatton doesn't give his promised rematch to Collazo, he's going to be hated by many fans who knows about this.

Judging by your post you never had respect for him in the first place. The American people as a whole are not outraged by this fight or its decision. The only people that are blowing this up are Hatton haters and even most of them give Hatton his props.

As I said before Hatton doesn't need to fight Collazo again but he probley will, just not now! I dont want him to fight Collazo now anyways.

You read my mind, Collazo is not exactly a big name. If it was someone like Castillo, Corrales, gatti, mayweather, then yeah..100% rematch.

I dont give a **** about either Collazo or Hatton, i love boxing. If a had seen a good performance from Hatton then i would be defending Hatton, I saw that Collazo was the better man(Hatton who never stops coming wasn't going after him in round 4-6). If I recall correctly all Hatton fans said he was gonna blow through Collazo, now Hatton fans are making excuses(he wasn't use to the weight, he cant fight southpaws, ect.), Hatton fans are loyal, & i respect that, but i'm loyal to the game, aint nobody's **** in my ass I call it like I see it, get Hattons **** out of your mouth and maybe you'd have a better view of the fight. & dont mistake boxing fans for Hatton haters.

Hatton is scared to lose that's what. He knows he lost that fight and he knows he can't beat Collazo. Collazo handled him and neutralized his wrestling tactics. Hatton is losing my respect.....

good post. I'm not a fan of both, but I saw Collazo winning that fight aswell. Hatton is scared of a rematch.

i don't mind that much if there was a rematch, sure i would want one to settle things once and for all...
But am i the only one who would want to see Hatton fight Corrales or Castillo instead? Those would be megafights

i like hatton, but hes a 140lber, unlike mayweather, hattons skill can't see him through multiple divisions. alleyesopen, great post - unlike you though, i truly like hatton and collazo, especially started to respect collazo a LOT more after rivera beat garcia the week before. hatton lost that fight, he shouldn't be at this time a 2 division champ and if hes smart, never give collazo a rematch, he's already avoiding someone? hatton sure doesn't have the heart of pac, thats for sure, but then again, who does. i love pac .. pac ... oh sorry, losing the thread here.

anyway - sorry for luis, but this is a tricky game, may pan out for him in the end, just like it did for rivera.

                    115-113 collazo.
