The man won the only fight that was signed. He doesnt have to fight callo again, hes already beaten him. And quite honestly how much do you think he will make fighting Callo again, not much man. Who would pay to see that again, not many. So for Hatton to not want to fight him again I have no problem with it from a professional stand point.

Hatton does not need to rematch Collazo. it was a style mismatch hatton needs to make money and create a legacy!! Callazo needs hatton, hatton does not need collazo

As far as a smart move, it is.. I agree with that, but he wants to earn the respect of Americans, and refusing to rematch a guy that was clearly the better fighter on that night will only blemish his image.

I hope he doesn't get the fight with Corrales/Castillo winner bc Cotto is the one who deserves it, not him.

If President Bush said there were weapons of mass destruction and there werent, Hatton can say he will fight him again and not. LOL

well stated, & i'm sure there are bigger money fight out there but to say no one wants to see such a close fight play out again is bs. If he moves on to fight someone who is easier to beat with his style, it just goes to show you that he's not after the best opponents, but the best opponents he can beat. in the end diehard Hatton fans are gonna stay on his ****, but US boxing fans who wanted to see what he was about, aren't impressed, and like i said who ever he fights next, this fight will always be on the back of people's minds.

Collazo says that Hatton PROMISED him a rematch. Hatton, after the fight, said he would fight him again, but didn't say when. There was no promise to fight him next, if that's what Collazo believes Hatton said.

Anyway, was the fight that great that we need to see a rematch? It wasn't quite as good as the first Coralles-Castillo fight now was it? It was a close decision and I'd watch a rematch, but it's not a fight that I greatly anticipate.

First, he promised a rematch with Kostya and later said he will never fight him again, now this one. Dirty fighter and dishonest person, great combo.
he is looking for the big fights real fast... i think he is in deep debt or something... lol...

I'm just giving my opinion from the prespective of a US boxing fan who saw Hatton for the first time sat. I wanna see him take the rematch & prove himself. If he goes on and beats his next opponent badly, i'll have more respect but the Collazo fight will still be on the back of my mind. That just how boxing is; Hopkins became a bad azz in middle weight devision, but what's always mention? the loss to RJJ. Hatton fans say he wasn't at his best, well i want to see him face Collazo at his best

Or he wants to make big fights for big money so he can retire at 30 years of age and devote more time to his children / family.

We wanted to see what he was about and we saw him beat Collazo, now we are going to see him fight someone with more recognition and hopefully a better style for Hatton. Ive always said fighting Collazo was a bad fight for Hatton. He won thogh, get Collazos **** from your ass and move on.

Dont get me wrong I would love to see Hatton fight Collazo again and I think he would do much better now that he has felt uncertainty in the ring. Honestly he doesn't him though.
