I dont see how people think that Winky will shut Taylor down like he did Trinidad.Winky looked great against 2 guys whos styles were perfect for him.Mosley like alot of short quick boxers has trouble with tall strong guys with a good jab and Trinidads style wouldnt have been very effective against winky even in his prime because he loves to shoot those left hooks so much and its hard to land a clean hook on winky. To match up against winky you gotta be a tall strong fighter that can go jab for jab with winky and shoot counter straight rights at him all night.I bet manny is working on getting taylor to stop throwing those looping rights and that should help him alot in this fight.I think winky is a hell of a fighter but i dont see him dominating Taylor like he did to Mosley/Trinidad.I see it as a even match that will end in a close 12rd decision for one of them.

This will either be Taylor's coming out party or he will be exposed.

It will be his coming out party. He's not going to lose to Winky.
People need to stop saying that Taylor has done nothing but beat a 40 yr old man regardless of his age Hopkins wasn't fighting as though he was 40. If Hopkins would've beating Taylor the age thing would never be brought up.

The fact of the matter is that Hopkins gave Jermain a tough fight more cause of his experience in the ring not because Jermain lacks talent.

I do respect Taylor for taking this fight. He could have easily took on a weak mandatory, but he chose to take on the best available.

          Antonio Tarver, please take notes.

I didn't think everyone was on his nuts. All I usually hear is Taylor hate, such as this. No,he didn't beat Hopkins convincingly. But Hopkins didn't beat him convincingly either. He was stepping up big time, and didn't do well against an all time great(40 or not).Im waiting to see the Winky fight, before I make a final judgement.I like Taylor,he is a stand up guy.And is going from facing the #1 P4P guy to the #2 P4P guy. This is what a champion should be like.

I agree MOY 2287 when most fighter's go 8 - 10 years w/o loosing and given no gift decisions, and won most of his big name bout's in convincing fashion. Besides the Taylor bout what does he have to do to get credit or not be "overrated" as some say. I don't fault Taylor for not looking great against Bernard, because he hadn't been in there with somebody on that level yet and IMO showed heart to pull those out even if they weren't pretty!

We'll know a lot more about Miranda after his fight in August against Abraham. Everyone says Abraham has great power, so if Miranda does have a suspect chin and doesn't improve his D we will find out then.
If Miranda goes into Germany (probably the hardest place to get a decision) and wins, there is no doubt he can stand with Taylor or Wright.

notice how he avoids people who are known for their power?

I guess when a 40 year old Hopkins can daze u to where you have to grab for dear life, then I wouldn't want to go up against a skilled slugger either

That's just BS, find me a fighter that has had 3 fights in a row like Taylor. He's fighting the best, but the haters will always find some BS.

Who the **** he's avoiding, please get real.

Because it's golden information.....Taylor's chin is an enigma. And Wright has enough power to keep you on your toes and off him. He goes about the motions in the ring, but he has that clean, effective punching power that frustrates his opponents.

They don't like hitting a guy in the gloves, and then having him hit them right in the nose.

That's never a good thing in boxing folks.
Runw/.... I got a billion says Taylor wins. You want some action?
