Why is everyone on Jermain Taylors nuts?

I don't see it.

The only way to beat Wright is to hope you can tag him hard enough with looping punches downstairs and upstairs and he lets his gaurd down to fire.

Because as it stands....I think Taylor will over-reach with the jab and pay with the straight Left hand.

Pretty much everything Taylor throws....Winky will catch.

he's like Piazza...he'll catch the fastballs and if they're fast....he'll just grin and bear it and throw back to the pitcher.

Pretty much the exact way I see it. Also, I wouldn't be suprised if in the later rounds Winky rocks Taylor with a hook or two. Taylor will get sloppy and try to throw some combos and Winky in his never-ending patience will let em' have it.

awesome plan to bet winky, I was going to say hit him in the nuts, then when he bends over rabbit punch him hard. Then when his trainer rushes the ring hope for the DQ, but your's works better

Controlling the pace of the fight like he always does, and making the guy fight how he wants him to.

I have alot of respect for that guy and his tactics/strategies.

Taylor will know he's behind on the scorecards and try to come in a little more. Winky will catch him with hooks. People can insult winky's power all day but he still punches plenty hard. The difference is he doesn't look for knockouts non-stop during a fight. And even if Winky's power is as weak as people say... is Taylor's chin ridiculously good? Not that I know of. I've seen him get hit flush once and he was definitely not in a goodway for a bit after it.

thats what is so hard. winky has such good D that he wont get hit to the body unless you come in at angles and taylor is not an angle fighter. Winky has faught strong guys like vargas and in my opinion he won that fight, he faught fast fighters againts mosely and beat him twice. he faught tito

Because it's golden information.....Taylor's chin is an enigma. And Wright has enough power to keep you on your toes and off him. He goes about the motions in the ring, but he has that clean, effective punching power that frustrates his opponents.

They don't like hitting a guy in the gloves, and then having him hit them right in the nose.

That's never a good thing in boxing folks.
