Salido has had 5 shots of a world title in the past 3 years and has only won a world title once out of those times, he isn't a bum but he's a running joke the world title fights he gets he clearly does not deserve and his ranking he has as well not deserved.

Entertaining fighter not a bum but just a joke type of fighter that is pushed hard into fights he hasn't earned.

Salido has fought them all and more than half of his losses happened early in his career. He has been either a world champion or a top contender for years. His resume speaks for itself.

They are both excellent fighters. They have lots of loses because they fight the best competition and often on the other guy's turf. They have lost some fights they should have won if the fights were scored correctly.

A lot of people around here need to realize what an actual bum in boxing is. I mean it's f**king ridiculous sometimes...I see motherf**kers around here calling guys like Brandon Rios, Amir Khan, and James Kirkland bums. Take these 3 for example (and there are countless other examples of guys referred to as "bums" around here who have made it all the way to the top level of the sport and have even headlined their own television cards).

These 3 have a combined record of 96-9-1.

Reggie Strickland is a true bum. The guy has 276 career losses (yes, you read that correctly). Robin Deakin is a true bum. Deakin finished his professional career with a record of 2-51. 2 wins in 53 fights. Eric Crumble (what a fitting name by the way) is a f**king bum. Crumble didn't win a single professional fight in 33 tries, and got KO'd all 33 times.

            These are actual bums.

So to answer the question, f**k no, the guys listed at the top of the thread are not bums, and it's not even close.

No. General rule of thumb, if I know their name, there is no way they are a bum. If you're at a local fair, there is some no name promotion with a ring putting on free show to anyone who's watching, and they introduce a man standing in one corner with a record of 1-16-2...THAT guy is a bum. If you've ever even whiffed a title, you're no bum.

the name of the game is winning (a 75+win %)

if a guy is constantly losing whenever he steps up.....he might be a bum. padding the stats by beating lesser bums dont mean much.
