Boxing has too many greedy athletes, I hope UFC doesn't reach the same height of greed that boxing has where the athletes can have the final say on who he fights that is when UFC would start dying as a sport.
Maybe using the word dying is harsh boxing has definitely lost its massive following and UFC has took over in that regard it is absolutely without a doubt in mind much bigger over in USA than boxing and there are many parties to blame for boxing becoming less relevant in USA than UFC.
UFC fighters still make good money, not great, but decent. $50k-100K is decent...frankly it's more than a lot of boxers would dream of making with 15 fights to their name. But those virtual no name fighters don't move the needle in terms of people tuning in. It's like in Hollywood. If Tom Cruise is in a movie, he makes $20m, and the guy who is the store clerk in some random scene makes $250. Because people want to see Tom Cruise, not store clerk. Tom Cruise is a brand, and the value he brings to the movie deserves to be compensated accordingly.

Nate Diaz is a brand. His name on the marquee makes people pay money to watch. He deserves to make money reflective of that fact. As far as I'm aware, McGregor has the biggest guarantee of any fighter - at $3,000,000. His name alone on any card is a sure bet it will do at least 500k to potentially a million buy at $60 a pop. Now the distributor and promotion deserve their cut, I'm not trying to say McGregor should walk with every dime, but to suggest that the McGregor, or the Diaz brand name only brings a value of $3m or less to the product is insulting - and if I was seeing guaranteed amounts of 5x or more that across the street from a boxing promoter - I would poke my head in and see if they were interested.

Did you enjoy see him being put on his ass 3 times and his face beaten to a bloody pulp? I did.

At the end of the day he made McGregor say uncle. I Remember Connor saying that there would definitely be a third fight. And now he's coming out with excuses on why not to fight him. Now, I'm curious on what your thoughts are about Dana coming out publicly saying he Doesn't want McGregor to go through another war with Diaz because he might never be the same after that fight. "He's a special fighter and it wouldn't be fair to him." Or that Nate is too big when they fight in the same weight class. The excuses Dana makes are comical. Seems like a duck to me.

He was approved in California, but he was denied in Nevada - because of an outstanding fine for a press conference confrontation with Diaz last August.

Yeah mate will sign with tmt and Floyd will hide behind Diaz making Connor fight him first. Connor will get knocked out and there goes the Floyd fight. Not a bad idea at all

in a straight up boxing match McGregor beats Diaz easy.. Nate has great chin, will eat a lot of punishment and Conor will give him plenty.

Diaz would kill McGregor in a boxing match. There's not enough room for him to run from Diaz in boxing, and he definitely doesn't have the gas tank. Diaz was open hand slapping him, and pointing and laughing at him in their second fight because Conor was turning his back and literally running from him when he was gassed.
