Not really a fair comparison. No one cares about boxing in America and 70% of Mexico doesn't even have access to indoor toilets, let alone the internet.

so one month graph is appropriate, is it not? because a couple of weeks ago hasn't happened in the last week... i would imagine.

The fact Canelo is on par Golovkin without have a fight announce is even more telling.

A one month graph gives Golovkin an advantage because Canelo did not have any news until this past week while Golovkin's name has benefited from the Jacobs fight being announced.

Honestly I wouldn't put stock into any of this google search stuff, it's not like team GGG can bring out a print out of this graph to the negotiating table.

It's all irrelevant in the end - boxing doesn't really have a place in the mainstream. Figuring out the variable popularity levels with the minority is splitting hairs.

The majority of people on the street would have no idea who GGG and Canelo are.

I see and makes sense, agree on the last point, but still nice to see (for a fan) that GGG is getting more popular.

isn't PPV sales the ultimate measure of popularity? Canelo, no contest.
