My point wasn't that Chavez Jr is an Angulo level attraction, just that the argument that if it's two Mexican fighters it must be bigger is weak.

Those guys are clueless. Niche fights appealing to a single ethnic fanbase don't sell 1m. You gotta cross over some to post those numbers. Can't do that with a side show

Doesn't that give you a clue? Mexicans fight each other all the time, and now you gotta reach for history books to find the last big Mexican fight. Let me know what you find, and how many ppvs it sold lol

I guess it's not such a lucrative market after all if these big Mexican fights never happen eh? You found any yet?

You know Chavez hasn't gotten 700k viewers in 3 years? Last fight off Us TV. That's not much of a draw.

Last mexican draw was Chavez Sr and he fought in 80s,Canelo is next draw and both Canelo and Chavez made bigger numbers on PPV then GGG,anyway most of money wont even be fronm PPV,but it will get 1m probably

So what was Chavez srs biggest Ppv vs fellow Mexican, back when boxing was way more popular?

If you're doing a Ppv and most of your income is not from the Ppv sales, that's not a mega Ppv, that's niche entertainment. But all that side money is there for the GGG fight, Canelo gets all the Mexican proceeds anyway. You should work on your excuse making
