Not only is 154 safer for him because he won't have to cut as much weight (and I don't have to keep hearing him ***** about it), but it allows him to make an identity and name for himself instead of chasing a boxer just for money purposes and holding back his career. Hearn had a really good interview where he discussed Brook and the many options. Most of those options have closed now because he has been chasing Khan. Although I want Brook-Spence to happen and believe that fight is more difficult for him than fighting Khan, I completely understand him dropping the belt and moving forward. Bust a move though. You're wasting other boxers' time while trying to fight a guy who has no interest in taking that loss...
I agree with just about everything you say, except maybe the part I highlighted.

Assuming both fighters have anything left after their last "cash out " fights, I strongly believe Khan v Brook is an even fight.

In fact I'll go so far as to say I'll put my money on Khan to beat Brook. Brook is as overrated as Khan is underrated.

Unfortunately, we may never find out.

Khan needs to repeat and make clear he's not fighting Brook until he fights Spence.

Kell should listen to his team. I understand that there are big fights for him at 147 and he wants to keep his world title, but he can't keep cutting weight in his 30's the way he could in his 20's.

Brook vs Spence would be a great fight and Kell could get it in the UK and make a lot of money on the back of the huge PPVC numbers for his fight with GGG. But could he take Spence's shots after draining himself down to 147 again?

It's a big gamble to take. A bad KO defeat could kill the momentum he's got going for him now. Brook is no longer a WW, the GGG fight proved that. I hope Kell accepts it and moves up to 154 now.

Trying to make 147 is dangerous for his health and makes him into a much weaker fighter. He looked good at 160. 154 would probably be perfect for him for the next 2 years.
Spot on post, just my thought.

Well if that's the case, I think the opponents on Brook's list should be: Lara, Jermall Charlo, and Miguel Cotto!

Do you feel 154 would be better for Kell Brook, than 160?

Lara or Charlo are the one's who would show us where he's at , cotto is all but done.

Man this is a bunch of horse crap. The first time he has a legitimate mando, he is gonna give away his title. Where's the F is the heart? if weight really was an issue he could've face Spence before GGG. As for his momentum, any fan worth having will give him respect and props regardless of if he wins or loses.. Better that then going to 154 and having trilogy with Carson Jones
