Ward could of been great if he had a good trainer

The man hasn't lost a fight since 12 years old.. has one hotly contested battle with the boogeyman Kovalev and that alone is enough to warrant a coach change??

Without Hunter in the corner after round 2 Ward would've mentally collapsed. The man is also a father figure to Dre, hearing that voice keeps him focused.

The people say he hasn't built any other stars from scratch.. ok, same could be said for Roach.

"Look what he did with Khan and Berto.." well look at Emmanuel Steward ruined Jermain Taylor, does that mean Steward sucks? ..some fighters never mesh well with certain trainers. Ricky Hatton and Floyd Sr never worked whereas he did better with Joan Guzman due the style.

Virgil is a guy that preaches patience and timing, Khan, Angelo and Berto are fighters that wanna be in the pocket trading shots. a style like Lamont Peterson, Cory Spinks and Chris Algieri is what fits Hunter's style. a coach would try to mold a fighter into his preferred style.

It's funny how these guys that detest Floyd and go against anything he says are suddenly willing to swear on a bloody cross by anything he said now.

Virgil has had Ward from day 1 and look how successful they've been, literally done it all in boxing: Olympic gold, unified 168, unified 175. It is extremely rare that one trainer can take a guy as far as Ward has gone with Virgil.

Most everyone that praised Ward and preach his victory over Kovalev(who are mainly Floydiots) are now questioning it and saying they always thought Virgil was crap. I have seen no such example of anyone changing their opinion because of what Floyd said and I'm very familiar with who belongs to what fan club. Of course there are Ward fans who thought he lost the fight BEFORE Floyd came out and said this but no one who did think he won is changing their tune to remain aligned with Floyd.

They either say they disagree but Floyd is entitled to his opinion or they flat out avoid the subject.
