My resume is in the words I write! If you knew what I know you would know I know what I'k talking about......hahahaha.....

"No one said he's not elite"....so he is ELITE? If your elite in any particular era than your a great fighter "in that era"!
Floyd is a great fighter in his era too! In the history of boxing both of them are NOT top tier talents.
Your discussion deals with Hunter not being well rounded enough for Ward. I'm saying their record is outstanding! Better than Floyds actually if your just looking at stats!

As for me I've been around a few boxing corners, taught at my own gym, Olympic Training Center and was a Region One Coach for many years. A state boxing chairman and trained state, regional and national champions.

If you want to look in the Training Section or Thunderdome about 3 or 4 months ago there are few Sports Articles from Newspapers posted there.
I earned a living in the sport, where do you earn your money?

Ward is great. Undefeated two weight world champion who has fought and beat the best in both divisions. What is going on with this site these days? Appreciate these fighters while we still have them.

All he teaches ward is jab and grab, if ward was shown some real technique he could of been the next Floyd no doubt but he has a limited one trick pony trainer, I'm glad Floyd put Virgil on the spot he's overrated as it gets.
When your God Floyd spoke you MFing sheep bow down and eat his **** up.

Funny you say this now after Floyd said what he said. But you had no clue before hand Before you were sucking off Ward and praising his victory over Kovalev.

It's funny how these guys that detest Floyd and go against anything he says are suddenly willing to swear on a bloody cross by anything he said now.

Virgil has had Ward from day 1 and look how successful they've been, literally done it all in boxing: Olympic gold, unified 168, unified 175. It is extremely rare that one trainer can take a guy as far as Ward has gone with Virgil.

Hunter didn't develop Khan, he didn't manager or promote him. He was a hired hand and if Khan listened to him vs Garcia he had a chance to win. At the time he got stopped it was an even fight if I remember correctly. Hunter didn't tell him to stand in front of him! As for Canelo thats on him and his management.
When the fighter wins it's the fighters victory when the loss comes it's on the trainer!
Don't make Khan out to be anything but a good boxer void of power and an average chin. The way he ran from Algieri was embarrassing.

Roach trained Khan for the Garcia fight, that was their last fight together. Honestly no trainer could have helped Khan against Canelo...... that fight was only ever ending one way!

I stand corrected! I thought Hunter came in around 2012 but no matter as you state!
The best of trainers often can't influence fighters who prefer "their way" and as long as they don't blame the trainer when their way fails it's all part of boxing.
