I guess we can throw in Danny Garcia 1st ballot as well, hell why not Thurman as well. 1st ballots going out like candy!Oh and as far as addressing the title of your thread, it doesn't matter which trainer he had because he didnt fight at 168/175 during a time that it had the likes of Roy Jones, James Toney, Lacy, Griffin etc. So, how does having a different trainer would had made him great? Like Dunn said, 1st ballot HOF whether yall like it or not.Comment

Ahaha I'm going to the gym right now, wildcard to be exact you probably heard of it.
You clearly said ward was doing it in the amatuers and virgils job was to try to improvise his already established style don't play ****** here.Comment

I kind of feel like he's a racist as well. May I ask what gave you that impression?Virgils a ignorant narcicst point blank he doesn't know fighters limitations and what they're capable of, khan and berto have not improved defensively at all and he ignorantly gives them game plans that doesn't fit the fighters strenght and don't even get me started on angulo..
All he teaches ward is jab and grab, if ward was shown some real technique he could of been the next Floyd no doubt but he has a limited one trick pony trainer, I'm glad Floyd put Virgil on the spot he's overrated as it gets.Comment

always said virgil is overrated. he's one of those trainers who knows how to talk their way into making people think that they know it all.Comment

I was wondering if I was the only one that heard him telling Andre that this white boy (Kovalev) can't beat him in between rounds. I guess when racism goes that way it gets ignored.Comment
