    True.

Peterson is almost crisper and sharper inside but Porter is probably stronger, rougher and hits harder.

Call Porter sloppy if you like, but there is no comparison inside. Shawn is on a completely different and higher level.

Danny may indeed land that hook, but I am not certain it will mean anything. And throwing that punch will leave him open to HELL coming back.

Don't say I didn't tell you so here first.

      Thurman by early stoppage.
Rios most definetly was out of shape I think you need to watch that one again. Even still chaves has never KOd a quality opponent.

Porter is a very sloppy fighter watch Peterson-Khan if you want to see quality in fighting.

I'm confident Danny can take whatever Thurman throws.

I hope Thurman comes out trying to knock out Danny early he's going to blow his gas tank and Danny will be breaking his body down and could stop him late. If Thurman is smart he'll use his foot speed and make Danny come to him.

Porter's performance in the Thurman fight dispelled all the previous negative comments about his style. He took his time, performed well and negated the caveman style comment. A style that always ends up in a clinch such as in the Brook fight, or Alexander. He traded and stood in front of Thurman. We saw non of the bullrushing style he did in his previous fights. So, all in all, he's a much improved fighter that you can't take lightly. The guy can give Spence a very tough and competitive fight.

Danny is way more tested than Thurman.
          Great post!

I'd pick Manny, Brook, Bradley, and Spence to beat Danny @147. With Thurman is harder to say. Danny has good timing, good punch resistance, and good power. But his major flaw is that he doesn't have fast hands or feet for a counterpuncher. That means guys can force him to lead, and when he leads he does not look good.

Three of the four welterweights I pick to beat him would make him lead. Spence I think would just have too much firepower regardless of style. Thurman can hit but he's not a huge ****er either. His ranginess and touch of wildness from the outside are his best assets against Danny. But if he ends up following Danny around he'll have a very tough night on his hands.

What a ****** commet from this guy. The Matthysse fight was much more difficult than Thurman's fight with Porter. Thurman lost but didn't have to endure the punching power DSG had to overcome in the Matthysse fight. A fight Danny won clearly.

This is gonna be a good fight, really good FIGHT!

I'm picking Swift cuz i believe he'll dig deeper than he ever and he knows Thurman is forreal which tells me he'll be keyed in on the gameplan which is to let Thurman lead, set up the traps to go downstairs early!

I say Danny should work on the right hook to the body and use a left hook feint to get Thurman to switch onto the right and land with authority everytime!

Danny should be careful of the jab though and the right hand early!

Thurman looking for the KO i think we'll end up getting himself knocked out!

                Garcia by 11th round TKO!

None are full blown WWs, that makes a difference.

I like Thurman in this fight. Keith is a tough resilient guy who I believe has Danny's number. I think Danny is very talented but won't like the pressure Thurman brings. Matthysse was not prime when Danny fought him. Herrara clearly beat Garcia and Danny was gifted the decision. One could argue that he has a better resume than Thurman but hasn't faced a guy like him before. Looking forward to it as it should be a great fight.
