That's true many people believe Herrera beat Garcia, so what Kenny says isn't true. He just wants Thurman to win.

If Danny had faced a healthy Matthysse for 12 rounds, and still won, then I'd givnye him much more of a shot vs Thurman. But he fought the worst Matthysse we've ever seen after that 4th round, and still didn't look great. And who else has Danny beaten? Khan was the best CLEAN win since it didn't have an eye injury on a foul like Matthysse, but everyone knows Khan is chinny. Who else? Peterson Danny barely beat, and Peterson doesn't a top win... ever? At least not recently. Herrera is also smaller, slower, and less powerful than Thurman, but still gave Danny a ton of trouble.

We'll see what happens. If Danny can clip Thurman to the liver or the chin with his left hook, anything can happen in boxing. But puncher's chance aside this is the easiest "big fight" to pick all year. Danny is not going to outbox or outpoint, or even outgun Thurman over an extended period. His one chance is to outgun Thurman with a few perfect shots that either end the fight or take the fight out of Thurman or fatigue him. But as long as both have energy in the tank and Thurman doesn't get caught with the hail mary punch, Thurman is better in every area and will win.

Stop just stop lol..This is NOT boxing logic

Garcia probably has a better resume.

But, I think One Time has been in with bigger, tougher, and harder hitting opponents than most of Swift's matches.

I think that is why you have to favor Thurman.

Keith has been hit by what Danny can dish; but there is no way to know how Danny will react to Thurman's power.

This is a great fight. Like both fighters.Garcia absolutely can not struggle like he did with Peterson or one-time is going to send him to the moon. (TMT)

I'm actually surprised to see so many people disregard what DSG did at 140. He arguably lost a couple of those fights, but he stepped up and fought some top competition and became a unified champion. Aside from Porter (who is very one-dimensional), who has Thurman beat that matches up to the fighters Danny has? To be fair, resumes don't win boxing matches, but people have selective memory in regards to the level of competition. Collazo and Guerrero are not W's that anyone should be beating on their chests about. Stop it. I think K. Porter was really boosting up his son more than anything else.

Not so much disregarding them as it is putting them in context.

Matthyssee turned out to be not as huge a W as it seemed at the time. Ditto with Khan. Not saying those guys arent elite, just not as good as thought of during the time Danny faced them (not Danny's fault). You cannot ignore what Matthysse's career went like later on, nor can you ignore what Khan did afterwards that made his stock go down a bit. Add to that the Peterson fight, which is another fight lots of folks thought Swift deserved to lose. More telling about that fight is that Lamont appeared to genuinely hurt Garcia a few times. If that is what happened, there is no way in hell he is going to remain vertical when Thurman lays a good shot on him.

Yes it is Danny Garcia's fault Lucas had not the skill to beat him.

                    Fascinating.
