Lara should focus on Jr middleweight. If he serious about fighting GGG move to middleweight and become a mandatory.

He's not serious about it. He's got a wonderful gig right now, where he can make great money fighting Ishe-Delvin-Zaveck-Vanes-Foreman.

Canelo won't fight him again (I don't blame him). The Charlo Brothers and Lara have already said they're from the same camp, so won't fight each other.

Why on earth would he move to MW and fight a hugely dangerous/damaging fight, for at best is twice the sum he makes for one of the Ishe-Delvin-Zaveck-Vanes-Foreman fights.

What people really need to focus on is not GGG-Lara - but instead, WTF is going on with Lara's career right now?

I must have got confused when Team Golovkin stated that they picked Monroe because "Monroe is a bigger draw than Lara".

look you could be right, but the waters become muddy when you consider Golovkin's apparent inability/reluctance to fight any higher-level opponent - not just Lara - and the fact that they have used multiple excuses (every excuse in the book) for Lara, just like they did with 2 other ex-champion mover/spoilers who are also notoriously difficult to look good against

Gotta be honest, once upon a time I used to believe Lara really wanted to fight GGG, but the truth always comes out, why everytime GGG has a fight set this dude claims for the fight.

Lara don't want anything to do with Golovkin. PERIOD

Canelo could also have made similar excuses whenever Lara's name was mentioned..... but he didn't.

Everybody is a bigger draw than Erislandy Lara, even a complete unknown like Willie Munroe. Lara turns away more fans than he attracts, that's his problem.

GGG sold out the arena against Munroe. If he'd been fighting Lara instead, half the people who showed up that night would probably have stayed at home.

So when Abel Sanchez says that Golovkin is avoided and no one calls and yada yada yada....he should qualify those statements with "no one that HBO will buy calls. And Lil G is avoided except by people that HBO will not buy."

There is zero mention in the media of any offers or attempts by Lara and his representatives to K2 about a possible fight.

Lara nor his manager have not once stated that they sent offers or tried to contact K2 about a possible GGG fight in the last 2-3 years. Tom Loeffler has also publicly stated that Lara's representatives have not contacted him.

Lara went straight up to Canelo at postfight news conference and challenged him in person--- Why has he not done the same to GGG, since he wants 'to fight him so 'bad'? Why only keep claiming that he would fight GGG only on social media?

Its always "We'll fight him blah blah"...But they never back up their words with action.
