I like the posts so far, they echo my own sentiments.
At first this calling out was a bit of a joke. It's now beyond a joke and is plain ****** and irritating. Lara is already on record saying he wants the be compensated very generously for fighting the ko king.
Problem with that is Lara is not a draw, not in the same weight class and probably the biggest issue - will turn the fight into a track meet.
Why is this the biggest issue?
Golovkin's managment are turning him into a ko brand, they prefer the toughest, biggest punching ko artist as his opponent, which generates excitement and entertainment (one reason why conela fight will be so big).
Combine the fact Lara wants to be paid VERY well, and he doesn't fit the type of opponents GG's management are looking for, it's safe the say this is a fight that won't get made... so shut up Lara and Co.
