It's cringe worthy commentary
Not really, since he's saying he only needs to train for a more explosive finish because he can't get a decision against an American Olympic gold medalist.

He can both think he should have won, which is quite clear, and think he needs to drain for a longer more active fight.

Because for him, just winning isn't enough. Even as champ he had to blow Ward out to have any chance at getting the cards.

Suddenly Ward fans think judges are all perfect and **** never goes wrong. But when they defended Ward refuses to fight away from home, it was judges would screw him, blah, blah, blah.

Ward himself knew before this fight he needed home court not to get docked for being a dirty shiiit bag of a fighter.

He fought like a guy holding on for dear life. He at one point tried to grab Kov's leg and flip him over.

Yea, fought like a champ though. Oh, maybe you meant chump!
What has Ward done in his last few fights that would be considered dirty?

Also, no matter how you feel about the decision, getting up off the canvas to make a competitive fight with one of hardest punchers in boxing takes champion mettle....even if you refuse to admit it.

All three judges scored the fight 114-113 for Ward. In the process Kovalev lost his IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight titles.

That's really a low-integrity post that shows your frustration more than anything else. It was undoubtedly a close fight. The judges had the same score I had so why should I feel anything other than I do?? Why should Dre? Ward fought his ass off to close the deficit. Kovalev and his coach (and just about everyone reasonable) have admitted to fading in later rounds. Those are all facts. Dismissing that just makes you look bitter and confused. Deal in facts.

If you felt Kov won, that's cool. It was close enough that it's a respectable opinion. This childish ranting that people are doing though is parallel to the embittered Clinton fans crying about Russia and conspiracies to make excuses for someone who under-performed.

I'm not sure what Kovalev means by that. Is he saying it's better to lose than to win by robbery? Or better to lose than win the way Ward fought?

Kovalev is a sore loser.. He should accept defeat & earn a rematch.. If Ward wasnt what he thought he was by overrating him, why didn't he knock him out completely like he does to other opponents?

What the hell was Duva thinking by accepting 3 American judges and an American referee?

One would think the Kovalev camp would show some urgency in the latter rounds of a close fight.
