Yeah that offer ended up being $2 million with GGG's $1million per/lb penalty. Chavez probably would of ended up owing after that fight.

Golden Boy have no intention of making this fight just like they didn't want the GGG fight. They know if Canelo ' s power doesn't work then he is in a whole lot of trouble. They probably have a 135lbs fighter waiting to fight Canelo somewhere and they will claim Chavez refused the fight.

There goes Oscar with his same flat fee BS that didn't work on GGG and I'll bet won't work on Chavez either. Why would Chavez take 6 million flat fee bucks and watch Canelo make perhaps 5 times that much? I am a big Canelo fan and will be rooting for him if this fight does happen. Oscar is a serious cheapskate when it comes to offering fighters what they are worth.
