Interesting observation, I was kinda considering a similar opinion when I first thought about it. Ortiz is well trained. He can make adjustments. I don't think he could adjust to Fury's mobility though. You might be on to something. Wilder really makes no adjustments in the ring, unless one can call attacking a stationary opponent with a different punch selection an adjustment.

Kong is heavy handed, but he has to get past Fury's front leg and shoulder. Tough call. lol.

Ortiz has a solid cuban amateur boxing background. I think the difference between he and Wilder is that Ortiz would try to box his way through Fury's jabs, feints, and stance shifts, like Wlad did.

Wilder would just go steaming in behind his jab and try to take Tyson's head off, and he might possibly succeed in doing it.

For the most part I agree.

I lived in europe and while the racism I experienced was pretty violent, there is definitely way more overall ignorance and general intolerance here in the us, and it's hyporicitical and hilarious because this is the one "melting pot" nation, the last place you would think such mentalities exist.

Us latinos have much in common culturally because our native origins territories spread across latinoamerica before national boundries were created, and we were also conquered by the same european nations. Our dishes are similar, our tastes in music, and many other cultural similarities exist. I've always hoped our latin nations would unify like the USSR did, one currency like the euro, etc.

But some latinos, like Canelo, are obviously descended from those European conquistadors. Others, like Rigo, are descended from African ****** the Europeans brought with them. And then there the descendants of the original indigenous peoples who lands were taken from them during the invasions.

They ALL seem to identify as Latin though, which is completely different from the situation in the States, where most people - apart from the latins, of course - seem to identify as either "black" or "white, and the descendants of the indigenous peoples still live in reservations!

That's not true though, you are making assumptions based on appearance.

Both of them could be just like me - have a healthy mix of both. Like i've explained to people before, I have a cousin with the same complexion as canelo and I have an uncle that is as dark as Terence Crawford. We are the same family by blood. Don't you see?

In the US, true latinos recognize true latinos, this doesn't matter how dark you are etc. People who don't are usually pretty "white washed" as they say here, which means overly cultured by caucasian culture here.

I lived in Spain for the majority of the time, and as someone who identified as someone from south american origins, I experienced clear racism quite often. Sometimes this puzzles people but that's because they don't understand that Spanish people are european and thus are predominantly white and often indifferentiable from British, German, etc, wheras we as latinos are often viewed as quite inferior and spoken about and treated as such there. I lived in the ******s and my only friends and "crew" were all latinos and we often got into it with local spanish boys and we were treated as "outsiders" all the time. We were from all different places also, ecuador, peru, colombia, chile etc. I eventually made Spanish friends elsewhere in the country so not everyone is like that just like not everyone is an ignorant racist in the USA either.

Wilder needs a tune up first, you don't injure your hand and bicept like that and then have your comeback fight against elite level comp. Remember what happened when he faced Molina after surgery on his hand? He barely threw his right hand and in fact had the highest number of jabs and left hooks in that fight, and the lowest number of right hands/round thrown in his career, barely throwing it, if at all in the first 3 rounds.

I don't want no asterisks on these big fights, as I'm sure do most of the fans.
