What do you expect from fans that root for one guy to punch the other guy more for 12 rounds.

Yeah because Mayweather never been caught with a big punch his entire career right?

He hasn't taken as many punches as others maybe but still some good clean shots from time to time without going down. Chin must be at least solid.

But even if that wasn't the case, and it was instead the case that he never took a good enough shot for someone with a weak chin to go down, wouldn't that be even more impressive?

Mayweather has one of the best chins of all time, never downed and that left hook Mosley landed on his equilibrium after still being hurt from a straight right is legendary!

No. He does have a great defense but in a long career as a world champion has has been hit hard many times. No matter how good his defense is he can't fight the quality of fighters he has fought for so long and never get hit hard. Nobody could do that. He has never been down and his chin is excellent just like his defense.

Troll thread but I'll answer it anyway.

Castillo x2, Chavez, Hatton, Oscar, Judah, Cotto, Mosley, Ortiz, Canelo, Maidana x2 and Pacquaio.

All punchers and all hit him clean and you can count the amount of times he was only badly shaken on one hand.

                There's your answer.

Remember that Maidana was not allowed to wear his preferred gloves. That may have made the difference.
Also would have been interesting if that punch caught Floyd early in the round not at the end of the round.

Its also hard to say if a given punch was on the money or just missed from being a knock out/down type punch but the Maidana punch was a real good one. So was Mosley's. What saved Floyd in the Mosley fight was what he did after getting hit. He held on to Mosley.

Pretty rare when Floyd gets hit flush, but of course through the course of 49 professional fights one is going to take some hellacious shots, and Floyd's no exception.

And honestly he took those big shots as well as one could have.
