I like both guys so it annoys me to see these idiot fanboys making foolish arguments and trying to defend every single thing they, their managers, trainers, and friends do.

Canelo really doesn't have all that much support here so there's no Mayweather parallel in that regard.
    Couldn't agree more.

Its like the guys they worship can't do any wrong, and if you just happen to call the dude out on some bull****, you're suddenly a hater, and the supposed "rival" becomes your "hero."

Noooo, you just called their favourite fighter out on some bull****.

Thats because they weren't Manny fans, they were people that joined to spew hate against Floyd. Once he beat Manny, they migrated to GGG as he was the next "guy to beat Floyd".

The real Pac fans that like boxing stayed Pac fans and let it go. Most of them and the Floyd diehards like myself get along fine in the other forums.

I also read alot before joining. It seems post 2007 the majority of people joining did so to either criticize Floyd or support him.

It's no secret that the Pac fanbase migrated to Golovkin. Not anything wrong with that either.
People couldn't be a fan of both? That's like saying the mayweather fanbase migrated to ward.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but I think he was referring to the vociferous, bandwagoning fans who supported Pac because they hated Floyd.

I can tell you that as long as I been a member. I have never seen such a fanboic type of fan base like that Pac fans.

I agree with this. They would be jumping ship everytime Floyd would beat their guy.

I just said, "there's nothing wrong with that". So, I don't know WTF you're talking about. If you're talking about being fans of both, that's bullshyt, the Pac fans are GONE. I was bumping Pac threads before his last fight an no one would bother to comment on them. They would rather argue about Canelo v GGG all day.

And, I do think a lot of Mayweather fans migrated to Ward. A lot of these same "fans" were clowning the guy when he was in litigation and not fighting.
Funny thing about Golovkin fans is that many of them were Canelo fans, and then felt they needed to pick a side, so they went with the bigger, undefeated guy. I laugh about it all because I am not caught up in that shyt. I'm not going to dislike a guy just because he's fighting someone I like. I still like Kovalev and Ward, Canelo and GGG, and I still like Pac more than May, but respect them both.

Lol May and Pac fans were ten times more fanatical than the current crop - at one time this forum was out of all control. Trust me

Nothing will ever rival the rabid ferocity of the prime Pac-Tard fanbase.

They had roving bands of red k hit squads that if you even looked at your keyboard sideways thinking of criticizing him.....

As far as fan base wars, both were pretty much rated 1-2 in most peoples eyes P4P, combined with the years of the "build up", and I don't see anything coming close to the animosity and fuckery involved between two fighters and their "fans".
