Wasn't supposed to win any of those fights... and did in IMPRESSIVE fashion.Originally posted by therealpugilist View PostAndre ward gets my vote....beat Sullivan Barrera before he went on the blitz highly touted Shabransky, beat Brand who only lost to Jack years ago and beat the most feared 175er today in Kovalev...got off the floor and came back in an inspiring performance.Originally posted by bigdramashow View Postframpton for me. Beating two world level fighters is better than one, and one of them is a strong contender for fight of the year. Not many fighters have the balls to fight hard fights back to back. Runner up joe smith jr, third place vasyl lomachenko
I will nominate Terence Crawford. Has probably the most significant win of the year in a unification to establish the 140 lb. lineage vs. Postol. Fought two other times and blew out Lundy and Molina.

Frampton
Crawford
Lomachenko
Joe Smith Jr.
Top candidates off the top of my head. The closeness of the Ward/Kovalev fight makes it hard to nominate either without shafting the other, so you kind of have to include them both if you include the other.

Chocolatito for me, beat a quality fighter in Arroyo, then moved up and beat a top 3 guy at 115.
