Wasn't supposed to win any of those fights... and did in IMPRESSIVE fashion.

      I second these 4 nominations.

I will nominate Terence Crawford. Has probably the most significant win of the year in a unification to establish the 140 lb. lineage vs. Postol. Fought two other times and blew out Lundy and Molina.

          Frampton
          Crawford
          Lomachenko
          Joe Smith Jr.

Top candidates off the top of my head. The closeness of the Ward/Kovalev fight makes it hard to nominate either without shafting the other, so you kind of have to include them both if you include the other.

clearly Carl Frampton. Unified at 122, moved up to 126 and beat the top guy there.

Chocolatito for me, beat a quality fighter in Arroyo, then moved up and beat a top 3 guy at 115.

All been nominated before, but I second (or third or whatever) the following:

                  Frampton
                  Loma
                  Crawford
                  Chocolatito

                    Same here. Ward.
