Any way, you may be right. I could be (unknowingly) telling you how to think. I give a ton a respect to boxers. I give more respect to boxers who are gold medalists, unified SMW and LHW undefeated champions. I have no right to tell you how you should feel about that and neither does Ward, but there is a difference between respecting what someone has done and liking them.... With that being said, I don't think his comments are really directed towards fans but more so for negotiations. Come negotiation time, Duva and crew will have to respect the fact that he is champion (no matter how they feel about the outcome). It all comes back to giving an appropriate level of respect. I think Ward stopped caring what most fans thought after he realized he wouldn't win a lot of people over no matter what he did in the ring...
Negotiations for the rematch were already agreed upon before the first fight. And if Ward tries to go against that, demands more, and threatens to retire if he doesn't get his way, that's a duck, plain and simple. No other way to describe it.

No, not all aspects of the fight has been established. Both sides agree that there are more negotiations to be done. Unless you have some new info we don't have, like where the fight is taking place, which venue, layout of the promotion, etc. Negotiations for tying up the rematch hasn't even started yet..

If he retires instead of giving the rematch (which I don't think he will), it would be shameful and highly disappointing. Kov has earned a rematch.

          punchy......

a bunch of clowns ran around making that exact same prediction last time..... and they lost all of their credibility

          1) what you are suggesting is highly unlikely - are you really sure you want to go there?

          2) if you persist, and yet Ward does indeed take the rematch - which is almost certain - then I suspect that a LOT of posters will continually remind you of that fact, AND they will claim that you DKSAB

          just saying.....

on the other thread, you continually stated that Kovalev will knock Ward out in the rematch..... so I offered you a harmless 1-month sig-bet, and yet you refused...... which appeared to indicate that you know you are talking bollocks.......

so..... I am calling you out, AGAIN.....

I bet you a harmless 1-month sig-bet that Ward takes the rematch..... and then double or nothing that Ward doesn't get knocked out?

you can either talk shht, or you can back that shht up ?

          you in ?

go on, make me a Golovkin fan, at least for a couple of months..... or, is it far more likely that you would end up being a Ward fan for 2 months?

Sorry I don't go by your rules. And BTW, I said IF Ward doesn't do the rematch it's a duck.

The key thing he's whining about is how he thinks somehow the contract should be changed to give him more money. That's already decided, the money. The other things aren't what he's talking about.

I would be willing to back you up on this putting a sig bet on the line as well... Lets see some individuals put there check where there ass can cash it! I doubt Ward does not take the rematch and doubt Kovalev Ko's Ward. So if you want a bandwagon or if someone wants a twofer I am in.

Where are you reading this at? In this article, he mentions, getting the right deal and being in the right situation. Neither of those things necessarily mean money. Unless you have another article or video of him trying to posture for more money, that's not a valid argument. If the splits and money are already decided for the rematch as Duva has said and Ward is trying to restructure the contract, then I am more than willing to criticize him for it, but I'm not going to assume that is what he's talking about if he didn't say it and when there is more that goes into negotiations.
