Yes Ward, we did see the fight and not many of us are as delusional as you... You didn't win that fight and deep down you know that as well!! I really hope Kovalev Ko's you through the ropes like Bernard... You are a punk bit*h and how did you already forget that you were the favorite going in? You're nothing but a chump and a major disgrace to the sport!!!

So he doesn't get to express his opinion of how he feels people should treat him, given his accomplishments? Elite athletes and those who have built legacies usually think highly of themselves and sometimes justifiably so. Hell, for some, their ego pushes them to be better. I'm not saying Ward's talk is okay or bad, but I think he is being crucified for his comments more than what is warranted and given his accomplishments... especially if you take into account the conditions under which he was raised. Arrogant and pompous? Maybe, but the man's record (personal and professional) is super clean. It's hard for me to take anything away from him...

That's your problem, not mine. I'm not the gushing fanboy you obviously are. No one tells me how to think. Especially when it comes to how I'm 'supposed' to think about them. Not Ward, not you, no one.

SOG deserves to be treated as champ and A-side. With that said, I hope he isn't pricing himself out. This fight isn't a big revenue generator.

He basically says that "As long as we are looking at it like I beat the guy that no one said I could beat, as long as we are looking at it like that, then we're good. If we aren't looking at it like that, well then......."

So if the public doesn't give him the credit that he himself feels he deserves, he will retire even though he already signed a contract for the rematch? Come on now, that schit is weak.

This is a situation where people jumped all over Bradley when he got a bad decision over manny...in this case the guy did win a very close fight, if you're honestly going to blame, b1tch, whine, and cry about it, then at least blame the judges. Ward did his job, he fought, the judges said he won...and those 3 are the ONLY ones who matter, they have the final say.

..... you mean, like Mayweather did regarding Pacquiao ?

they all gave the 10th to ward which shows that they knew they had to give every round to ward for him to win. their "opinion" shouldn't matter at all. if you thought ward somehow miraculously won ok cool but they were not judging based on what was happening but based on what their cards were.
