Where are you reading this at? In this article, he mentions, getting the right deal and being in the right situation. Neither of those things necessarily mean money. Unless you have another article or video of him trying to posture for more money, that's not a valid argument. If the splits and money are already decided for the rematch as Duva has said and Ward is trying to restructure the contract, then I am more than willing to criticize him for it, but I'm not going to assume that is what he's talking about if he didn't say it and when there is more that goes into negotiations.

Yeah, that's my reaction too. I absolutely despise Ward the 'business man', or whatever you want to call it. Whenever he opens his mouth a bunch of garbage comes out.

He then explains himself clearly, and you call it garbage. You may not agree with the man but its his right to want recognition for beating a guy the haters thought would be a problem for him.

Ward has consistantly beat who is in front of him...but he didn't dominate Kovalev, so that means he lost the fight because it was close to the haters. There is an easy way to show Ward won that fight....there are arguments to the contrary that Kovlev won, agreed. Ward isn't going to accept being told he didn't win the fight because people have an opinion to the contrary, nor should he.

Exactly! People act like money is the only thing that holds up negotiations. I thought I was going crazy for a moment. Until I hear Ward say that money is the problem, I will wait to see what the problem is (if there is even a problem). Ward has said that he doesn't intend on fighting 4 years from now. Respect matters to him at this point in his career and that can come in many forms...

I defined what 'garbage' was. Garbage by my definition was 100% verifiable lies. He said that nobody thought he could beat him, which is a lie, since he was the favorite. After the fight he said it was the first time he's been dropped, which is another lie because he was dropped (on film) by Darnell Boone.

I get it, you're a brainless fan of a fighter, and in your mind he can do no wrong.
