Ward won the 10th Rd because Kovalev has blood from his nose...I believe that's why the judges gave it to him.

I also don't care if you think your "opinion" matters, because not 1 ****ing person cares, but the 3 judges "opinions" ARE IN FACT the ones, and ONLY ones that matter Ward won and Kovalev lost. Deal with it b1tch boy.

oh so they are just incompetent? LOOK BLOOD! forget that kov landed a ton more and landed much better punches in that round. there's blood! what matters is what the people who watch boxing think since they are the customers and most think he lost. ward used to be known as a great american slick boxer, winner of the super six, gold medalist, but now hes known as the guy who robbed kovalev. boxrec is not a sentient being. it has no opinion. people do and they think he lost. ward has to live with it and hes not dealing with it too well. it would have been better to just take the loss because at least he would have respect and dignity intact.

Lol, oh now you're just being a drama queen. Once again, Ward wasn't a judge...why should he take **** from armchair judges like you because they scored it for him? How, in anyway is that his fault? He said he knew it was a close fight, he did what he needed to, and he got the win, I swear some of you are so ****ing idiotic...it's hilarious to be totally honest. Where do you live? I'll make you an appointment with a local KL (Kovalev lost) meeting, or therapist.

By the way, with 25k posts, I would really think you knew that some judges will score blood.

That's your problem, not mine. I'm not the gushing fanboy you obviously are. No one tells me how to think. Especially when it comes to how I'm 'supposed' to think about them. Not Ward, not you, no one.
Dude, calm down. There's a difference between paying respects to someone who has accomplished a lot in the sport vs. being bitter because you don't like what he says in an interview. Take those childish insults somewhere else. Get back to me when you want to talk about boxing...

So if the public doesn't give him the credit that he himself feels he deserves, he will retire even though he already signed a contract for the rematch? Come on now, that schit is weak.
I don't think he was talking about the fans in that regard. I thought he was talking to Main Events. Being treated like you're the champion in negotiations for a rematch matters there. I may have misinterpreted what he was saying though...

              NOPE, Kovalev does !

The reason why is..... "boxrec is not a sentient being. it has no opinion."..... it will always ONLY say that Ward won!

You're basically telling me, like Ward is doing, how I should think about Ward. And you're calling me childish? Yeah, that's gonna fly. Sure. LOL

I'm just not allowing him to grind on me for not worshipping him. Perfectly logical on my part, illogical on his part to expect it.

Calling me a gushing fanboy is a childish insult. I don't really care how you dice it. It's childish and wasn't warranted.

Any way, you may be right. I could be (unknowingly) telling you how to think. I give a ton a respect to boxers. I give more respect to boxers who are gold medalists, unified SMW and LHW undefeated champions. I have no right to tell you how you should feel about that and neither does Ward, but there is a difference between respecting what someone has done and liking them.... With that being said, I don't think his comments are really directed towards fans but more so for negotiations. Come negotiation time, Duva and crew will have to respect the fact that he is champion (no matter how they feel about the outcome). It all comes back to giving an appropriate level of respect. I think Ward stopped caring what most fans thought after he realized he wouldn't win a lot of people over no matter what he did in the ring...

What does this respect mumbo jumbo mean? There's a rematch clause and the terms are set. As the B side Ward made 5m vs 2m for champ Kov, got his 2 tuneups, got friendly judges and home turf. What needs to be different this time? Why is he even addressing Duva if it's about purses? That's for his promoter

He needs to make a rematch, for him to think he got a clear win is delusional.
