At this point, i really wish kovalev would have gotten the nod...i wouldn't have any doubt in the rematch happening if that was the case. I'm not 100% confident that the rematch will take place. Ward seems to overestimate his value in general, but this will just make it worse. I mean if it's true he made his own promoter come out of pocket for the first fight, what's he gonna be asking for the rematch? He talks about business 101...he needs economics 101, he doesn't generate the kind of money he believes he's worth so something has to give.

Ward is used to sit back and he's stubborn as well. Kovalev can't waste a whole year while waiting Ward -- Kovalev is old already.

Ward won the decision but anybody with decent eyesight saw that he was the guy who took the beating. Too bad Ward's not anxious to do a rematch and prove he deserves the titles.

Ward has to accept what a wide majority of people saw during the fight : he clearly lose.

Most foreign broadcasts had Ward winning, there are also a ton of boxers that came out and said Ward won. It's only Kovalev fans and those fooled by the hbo broadcast (which most people watched) that thought he won.

Ward, why don't you offer Kovalev, for an independent commission of 7 non US judges to review the tapes and make an independent unbiased decision on the fight? (I know what your will say for that already.)

I wish everybody would stop complaining like a bunch of schoolgirls. 114-113 is not a robbery, it was close. If the judges had come back with 116-112 or 117-111 for Ward, THAT would've been a robbery. This fight could've gone either way folks.

no saying it was a robbery, but a robbery is when one guy clearly wins aND the other guy gets the decision. whether the other guy wins by 1 pt or 4-6 is irrelevant as to whether it's a robbery, just makes it a worse decision.
