you guys are whining..... why don't you give it a rest ?

Ward beat Kovalev, so he can say whatever he wants

I take that position because..... Golovkin ran around talking utter BOLLOCKS for FOUR YEARS, and you all happily lap that shht up...... and yet, Ward beat Kovalev

guys who step up, are entitled to talk.....

I think Ward is an excellent fighter, but I would like him a whole lot more if he handled his business and managed his career better.

The Ward-Kovalev fight was close, and entertaining. It appears fans want to see it again, and it's almost certainly the best option legacy and money-wise for both fighters. From what has been reported, the terms of a rematch were already agreed upon before the fighters entered the ring the first time.

To create unnecessary drama trying to renegotiate what had apparently already been agreed upon, and to go so far as to threaten retirement when he is in the prime of his career, makes Ward look like a prima donna who is trying way too hard to be a businessman and not hard enough to be a great champion. Ironically, I suspect that if he did the latter and not the former, he'd end his career with more money in the bank.

What an azzholeo thinking he's some specially anointed god or something. SMH
I mean... He definitely an HOFer and has a great argument for being in the legend category. Gold medalist, unified SMW and LHW champion, hasn't lost since he was 12. I don't know who else has that resume and has beaten the quality of guys that he has and doesn't get close to legend-level respect. He may be an ******* and all that other stuff, but in the ring, he has earned his stripes, in my humble opinion...

Clearly he's been bothered by people telling him he lost the fight in their opinion!

Kov has moved on, it's his low rate and cheap ass promoter Kathy "The Whoville From The Grinch" Duva that's been yapping as usual!

Just aim for 6.5 mill or 7 and let's see both you guys in there again! Never seen SOG talk so much after a fight!
I believe he and his team are hyping it. SOG usually doesn't talk this much. Hell, even Virgil came out and said a few things about the fight. They are definitely in hype-mode considering that I believe Ward is trying to maximize the tail-end of his prime. Despite his accomplishments, a lot of people really don't like him. He will draw attention and people will buy the rematch the more he talks just for the chance of seeing him getting KO'd. Floyd got super rich doing this. However, Ward is doing it in a manner that he's just being more vocal without adopting a certain persona... Just my two cents (which could be very wrong).

Everyone does need to "act" like Ward won. You have to act, cause it ain't reality.

It seems like a lot of people are assuming that this has something to do with the money. There are so many other things that go into making a fight happen than that. Who walks out first? Location of the fight (I believe Oakland was already determined not to be a place for the fight. It's in the contract.)? Which building? Number of giveaway tickets? I don't pay attention to these sorts of aspects of fights, because I don't really care as long as the fight is happening, but I think it's not right to assume that Ward has issues with the pay when there is so much more that both parties must agree on...

The Guy is Begging to be Treated like he won

You only beg for that when you know nobody thinks you won.

                Ward making excuses, period.

Does he want to fight again or not?

The only one who's laughable here is Ward.
