After Govlokin runs through Jacobs what will the new excuses be?

There are literally only three posters on this site that strongly believe that Jacobs will win.

Most other posters give Jacobs a puncher's chance at best.

THis will be Golden Goose Gennady's best win but that is not saying a great deal, it's the division no.1 vs the no.2 usually in any weight class this wouod be an exciting closely matched fight but GGG is light years ahead of Jacobs, chin, offence, everything. To see GGG in an exciting fight he needs to move up and face the best of 168, Zurdo, DeGale possibly even Groves.

The blueprint is there on how to defeat the majority of his opposition as they've already been defeated at least the better calibre of opposition he has fought, Geale, Rubio, Lemieux and Murray. It is a poor affair when you're best wins have Rubio mentioned in the same breath.

GGG fans need to accept he has no real desire to achieve establishing himself as a true great, he is a prize fighter and he will remain a prize fighter until he has cashed in those golden eggs versus Canelo who we all know he will crush just like we all knew he'd crush Lemiuex and just like we all know he will crush Jacobs.

People are so desperate to inflate the value of their fighter's wins that they're preemptively creating these false natives.
It's a decent fight, probably Golovkin's best opponent, but that's really not saying much. We can't start lying about Jacobs just to make Golovkin sound better.

They'll never give GGG credit no matter who he beats.

They'll turn against Danny Jacobs and call him a bum, same way they turned on Curtis Stevens and poor Dominic Wade.

To have turned on them we'd need to have been on their side in the first place.
