  • I expect Triple B to knock him out cold in the 2nd round or 3rd!

Anything more, and hopefully we'll see The Man Who Knocked Out Cancer test Son of Sanchez and see what he truly got!

Not PPV worthy but definitely a fun fight that won't need the judges, they can come in as spectators!

I never associated you with Steve Kim or twitter.

However, I did associate you with saying Jacobs would duck and not knowing schit about boxing

Which is a big mistake if they feel that way.
I've seen Jacobs fight!!! He's NO JOKE! And he is DEFINITELY going to be GGG toughest fight as a pro by FAR! He might not be known by casuals but in the boxing community he put in his work and is known.

That wouldn't be a bad bet... To be honest it's REALLY hard to tell how good GGG is also because he's always fought C-level competition. This fight could go either way...Can't WAIT to see the betting odds.

            • I actually think this is a closer fight than some people are estimating. Jacobs has a real chance (not saying he's going to to win). Although Pirog was getting the best of him he wasn't getting blown out. The ref stopped the fight because after he went down he wasn't moving. After watching it again it looked like he froze and as he was trying to collect himself the ref waved it off. He immediately tried to get up once he saw the fight was over. The Mora KD was a fluke even though he looked badly hurt. I see Golovkin outboxing him and possibly getting a late stoppage. However, I guarantee he won't be standing in front of Jacobs and letting him tee off him like other fighters.

was ducking a prospect named Shabranskyy. And he had already agreed to fight Kovalev. But they said he was ducking Shabranskyy

You mugs are so elated that Jacobs didn't duck that you're coming unhinged! I never said Ward was ducking Shabransky, you deluded clown.

props to Golovkin/K2 for not ****ting on it like we thought

I was wrong, I thought that they would pass on this fight because..... 1) they don't need to fight Jacobs..... 2) he is more of a risk than Wade/Brook/etc..... 3) they have refused to take any kind of risk whatsoever with Golovkin's career

I don't mind admitting that I was wrong about this fight, good for Golovkin..... if this is finally a step in the right direction, then great..... but if he continues fighting no-hopers and furnishing us with b,b,b,but stories like they have in the past, then fk them
Jacobs is one of the biggest punchers he will have faced and the best boxing talent too I agree it is a step up to a certain degree, but his punches are no more dangerous than that of Lemiuex and we saw how GGG just beat the brakes of a guy regarded as a dangerous puncher he reverted to his actual genuine boxing talent so many like to claim he is devoid of which of course is nonsense.

Of course he is more of a risk but its still a mismatch, ain't no man south of 168 providing GGG with a challenge, not Jacobs, not Saunders and certainly not the flat footed one dimensional Canelo.

Everyone wants Ward versus GGG but it won't happen because GGG and his team are busy turning down huge offers to actually fight the Mexican superstar. Boxing is a business and I accept why these mismatches are made but I'm not excited by them, I would be excited by DeGale or Zurdo versus GGG and those fights they could sell in Cali and London as ppv's what need is there for these current mismatches we are served up with Canelo facing the likes of Smith and Khan, GGG facing guys like Jacobs and Brook. If you had Canelo versus Jacobs it'd be a 50/50 a true competitive fight as would Khan vs Brook.

I'm losing all faith in boxing.

Jacobs is a good, to very-good, fighter..... imho

MUCH better than Golovkin's recent opposition

yes, Golovkin should still be overwhelming favorite..... but that is because he is very dominant at middleweight

Jacobs is not established, true..... and he simply cannot be described as a great win, or even as Golovkin's best win imho..... but I will give Golovkin credit for a very-good win IF he beats Jacobs..... and I think he will

Golovkin detractor's have (rightly) been demanding this fight..... not really fair to shht on it now that the paperwork has been signed

I'm just glad that GGG is finally doing something meaningful
I hate to say "I told you so" .. but I did, about 50 times!

It was obvious - to anybody who is capable of thinking rationally on the subject - that Loeffler was trying to make this fight all along, and that Jacobs was the one who was stalling, not GGG, because he wanted more money.
